We're celebrating an exciting achievement as Fooditude's Head of Impact, Kate Page, has been recognised among the winners of The Caterer's Acorn Awards 2026. The awards held at Swinton Estate brought together 30 young professionals from across the hospitality sector, highlighting the talent and innovation within the industry.
At Fooditude, we have seen first-hand the energy, creativity and determination Kate brings to everything she does. She has not only helped us build stronger relationships with our clients and communities but also played a huge role in leading sustainability and social impact within our operations.
While this award recognises Kate's accomplishments, it also celebrates the collaborative spirit with which she works. Whether partnering with chefs to reduce food waste, creating opportunities for colleagues to volunteer, supporting local community initiatives or contributing to industry conversations around sustainability, Kate's approach has always been about bringing people together to create change. Here's a glimpse of Kate's work in action.
Launching Low-Carbon Menus
Supporting the launch of the new Low-Carbon Menus report, Kate joined the panel to discuss the accompanying chef toolkit, developed by PhD researcher Andrea Zick. The toolkit provides practical guidance for creating lower-carbon menus and is a framework Fooditude has integrated into its own menu development.

Planet Mark 2025
Kate led the initiative and secured the win for the Employee Engagement category at the 2025 Planet Mark Awards. The Tackling Food Waste initiative was a cross-department effort where teams across Fooditude joined forces to measure and reduce food waste from our central kitchen all the way to our client sites.

Global Recycling Day
Kate joined the community clean-up initiative, where the team took to the streets of South Bermondsey litter-picking. Everything was brought back to site and sorted for proper disposal, ensuring all materials were placed in the appropriate recycling and waste streams.

Kate’s efforts and leadership have left a real mark on Fooditude’s impact, strengthening the way we measure, communicate and lay the foundations for impact across the business. We are incredibly proud of everything Kate has accomplished so far and look forward to seeing the impact she will make in the years ahead.
